Sana'a: On this day, May 20, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its mercenaries targeted civilians and infrastructure, resulting in deaths, injuries, and significant material damage.
According to Yemen News Agency, on May 20, 2015, eight people were killed and five others injured in airstrikes launched by the aggression on the Special Security Forces camp in the Shaban area of Ibb city. Additionally, the aggression targeted a vital water tank in Al-Nahdain area of the Al-Sab'een district in the capital, Sana'a, affecting 30,000 people dependent on its 5,000 cubic meter capacity.
In 2016, a citizen was killed and five others injured by an airstrike on a cement truck in Al-Hardain area, Mawza' district, Taiz governorate. The aggression also struck the coastal city of Mokha and shelled Al Wazi'iyah district with artillery and machine guns, impacting various neighborhoods.
The following year saw further destruction with aggression aircraft launching multiple airstrikes across governorates, including Sana'a and Taiz. Notably, twelve people died in airstrikes on Maqbanah Primary Court in Taiz. In Saada Governorate, extensive raids caused damage to farms and civilian properties.
On May 20, 2018, targeted airstrikes continued in Taiz, Sana'a, and Saada, causing injuries and property damage. The aggression's air force launched significant operations, targeting civilian areas with repeated airstrikes.
By 2019, airstrikes in Hajjah governorate killed four civilians and injured 11 others. Mercenaries heavily shelled residential areas in Hodeida, affecting civilian homes and farms. Saudi missile strikes further targeted villages in Saada.
In 2020, the coalition's air force conducted raids in Marib, Jawf, Dhale'e, and Bayda governorates, while mercenaries fortified and shelled various areas in Hodeida, causing widespread disruption and damage to civilian structures.
On May 20, 2021, air raids continued across Bayda, Ma'rib, and Jawf governorates, with significant artillery activity reported in Hodeida. The aggression's actions led to injuries and damage to infrastructure and civilian properties.
By 2022, the conflict persisted with air raids in Hays and mercenary fortifications established in multiple districts. Artillery and ammunition targeted civilian areas across Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, and other governorates, perpetuating the cycle of violence and destruction.
