Sana'a: The Yemeni Standards, Metrology, and Quality Control Authority destroyed a quantity of violating goods and commodities in the Hodeidah, Sa'dah, and Afar governorates in Hajjah.

According to Yemen News Agency, the authority explained in a statement that it destroyed a quantity of raspberry-flavored juice in Sa'dah governorate. The juice was found to violate approved standard specifications due to the high level of the artificial color carmoisine (122).

The action underscores ongoing efforts to ensure consumer safety and maintain quality standards in the region. The destruction of these goods is part of a broader initiative to monitor and regulate products that do not meet established guidelines.
