Governor of Shabwa Emphasizes Yemeni Unity as Cornerstone for National Strength

Shabwa: Governor Awad Al-Awlaki has underscored the importance of Yemeni unity as a pivotal historical achievement for the country, asserting its role in building a robust and independent nation.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Al-Awlaki highlighted the significance of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, celebrated on May 22, as a realization of the efforts of historical struggles and the goals of the Yemeni September and October revolutions. He emphasized that facing the current challenges and threats against Yemen necessitates a unified front, which is essential for establishing a resilient state.

Governor Al-Awlaki remarked that the Yemeni people's commitment to unity is stronger than ever, serving as a symbol of national pride and dignity. He envisioned a sovereign and independent Yemen, free from external control, as the aspiration of all its citizens. He criticized the oppression and exploitation faced by the southern and eastern governorates, highlighting the adverse living conditions and lack of basic services as evidence of the occupying states' harmful intentions.

Al-Awlaki asserted that unity, embodying freedom, sovereignty, and independence, is crucial for constructing a resilient Yemen capable of overcoming its challenges. He noted the failure of attempts to undermine the country's unity and praised Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi for his national vision and leadership in advancing Yemen's strength and independence despite external aggression.

The governor also lauded Yemen's support for Gaza and Palestine, emphasizing the country's alignment with just causes amidst the ongoing aggression and blockade. He pointed to Yemen's military advancements as a sign of national progress across various fronts.
