Sana’a: The General Directorate of Traffic Police organized a speech event commemorating the martyr commander Sayyid Hussein Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi and martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad on their anniversary 1446 AH, alongside the conclusion of “Al-Aqsa Flood” courses.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, Director General of the Traffic Police, and Brigadier General Ali Al-Mutawakel, Director of the Office of the Undersecretary of the Security and Police Sector at the Ministry of Interior. Colonel Majid Salman, Director of Financial Affairs at the Traffic Police, highlighted the importance of the positions embodied in the Qur’anic project presented by the martyr leader, which aimed to achieve pride and dignity for the nation.
Colonel Salman emphasized that the martyr’s project intended to save the nation from weakness and humiliation by adhering to the teachings of the Qur’an. He reviewed significant moments from the martyr leader’s life, focusing on his foresight regarding challenges the nation might face, as outlined in the Qur’an.
He further explained that these visions have become a tangible reality amidst the conspiracies orchestrated by America, Israel, and Western countries against Islam and Muslims. Additionally, Colonel Salman acknowledged the contributions and roles of martyr President Al-Sammad, who embodied honesty, sincerity, and steadfastness in the face of global tyranny, ultimately achieving martyrdom for the sake of God.
The event also included the inauguration of an office expansion at the General Administration by the Director of the Office of the Undersecretary of the Security and Police Sector at the Ministry of Interior and the Director General of the Traffic Police. The expansion comprises five departments equipped with necessary capabilities to enhance performance and facilitate citizens’ transactions.
Moreover, they reviewed the operations of the Automated Traffic Issuance Center, assessing the level of equipment and services provided, and the procedures for aiding citizens. The center, as explained by the Director General of Traffic Police, offers various services through its 28 offices, including automatic renewal properties, international driving licenses, card delivery, and issuing numbers for official bodies and provinces, among others.
The visitors emphasized that the automated issuance center exemplifies the government’s commitment to change, construction, and the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and Traffic Police in enhancing services for citizens.
