Ma'in: The Education Sector in Ma'in District of the Capital Secretariat organized an expanded meeting for teachers from public and private schools as part of the preparatory activities for the Prophet's Birthday celebrations. During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development, Mohammed Al-Madani, praised the efforts and role of the educational cadre during this stage and their steadfastness on the educational front.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Madani emphasized that the Prophet's Birthday activities should serve as a platform for establishing a strong Yemeni economy, which he described as a fundamental pillar in building a robust state and a productive populace. He highlighted the importance of schools as the cornerstone for building capacities in development and economic plans, advocating for the activation of general education outcomes in productive and vocational aspects.
Al-Madani stressed that Yemen's future development and economy depend on supporting and developing small projects for individuals and families, replacing imported goods with local products, and activating cooperative associations in both urban and rural areas. He also called for mobilization for the Prophet's Birthday central event and participation in the grand celebrations.
Deputy Minister Mohammed Shawkah and Assistant Secretary-General Sami Sharaf Al-Din addressed the significance of commemorating the occasion through a true connection to the Prophet, reflecting his life and struggle in the nation's reality. They also highlighted Yemen's stance in supporting Gaza and occupied Palestine against the Zionist enemy.
Osama Al-Wajih, Director of the Educational Zone in the district, noted the ongoing intensive activities in Ma'in's schools since the beginning of Safar, aimed at commemorating the Prophet's Birthday and reflecting the true image of the Messenger of Allah.
