Sana’a: The Youth Training and Rehabilitation Center in Sana’a concluded on Thursday a training course for trainers of the Technical Committee for Summer Activities and Courses at Al-Yamaniyah base to master the Holy Qur’an, as part of the activities of the Ramadan program and summer courses.
According to Yemen News Agency, the six-day course was organized by the Technical Committee for Summer Activities and Courses under the auspices of the Supreme Committee and attended by 23 trainees. At the conclusion of the course, the Youth and Sports Minister and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlad, emphasized the importance of implementing such courses for women, which focus on teaching and training women to recite and memorize the Holy Qur’an, learn the Book of God correctly, and understand the Holy Qur’an with a sound scientific methodology.
Abdullah Al-Razhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth for the Youth Sector and Chairman of the Technical Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, highlighted that the Higher Committee for Summer Activities and Courses is dedicated to training programs in preparation for the Ramadan program, summer activities, and courses. Al-Razhi, along with the Director of the Youth Center for Training and Development, Dr. Ali Al-Maanqi, and trainer Youssef Al-Ibrahimi, expressed the Supreme Committee and the Technical Committee’s commitment to expanding the base of summer schools and activities beyond religious, educational, cultural, and sports sciences to include vocational skills, agricultural, environmental, health and social activities, rehabilitation courses, craft and art exhibitions, competitions, trips, and field visits.
The trainees underscored their eagerness to gain more knowledge related to the Holy Qur’an and its sciences, asserting that their role in the field will be significant and effective in teaching the recitation and memorization of Allah’s Book and educating the generation to be equipped with Qur’anic culture, faith identity, and to confront all destructive projects and cultural and media invasion by the enemies of the nations.
