Training Course for Female Development Pioneers Concludes in Azal District

Sanaa: A training course for female development pioneers in the field of community development concluded today in Azal District, Capital Sanaa. The program was organized by the local councils of the district in cooperation with Bonyan Development Foundation and the Bonyan Academy for Training and Qualification, as part of the Volunteer Support Program.

According to Yemen News Agency, the 14-day course was supported by the Project and Agricultural-Fisheries Initiative Financing Unit in the Capital Secretariat and held in coordination with the Azal Educational Zone. It aimed to equip 47 trainees with the fundamentals of voluntary work, development resources, community initiatives, and urban development.

The program included lectures and workshops in various fields designed to qualify participants, enhance their capabilities in developmental work, and provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute effectively to sustainable local development.

Participants stressed the importance of training and qualification programs for female development pioneers, noting that such initiatives help activate cooperative developmental efforts, empower women, and enhance their role in achieving local development.

At the closing ceremony, the development pioneers of Azal District were honored with certificates of appreciation.
