Sana’a: A training course in first aid for members of the Road Traffic Police and traffic control was launched in Sana’a, organized by the Traffic Police in coordination with the Yemen Red Crescent Society. The three-day course aims to provide 102 trainees with ambulance skills and immediate rescue of traffic accidents on long lines between governorates.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the opening of the course, Colonel Mohammed Al-Bahashi emphasized the Ministry of Interior and the traffic police’s commitment to developing the rescue and ambulance skills of their personnel. Dr. Jaber Rassam from the Yemen Red Crescent Society highlighted the significance of the training in enhancing traffic services.
The course offers both theoretical lectures and practical exercises covering areas such as CPR, rapid examination, handling of suffocation, fractures, and wounds, and ambulance response in mass injury situations. The objective is to improve the response of traffic personnel to accidents and save lives.
