Training Course on Integrated Development Work Model Launched in Sanaa

Sanaa: A five-day training course on the integrated development work model began on Saturday in Sanaa for 40 staff members and personnel of the Housing Sector at the Ministry of Local and Rural Administration and Development. The course aims to familiarize participants with development work principles, national priorities, modern management and development practices, decentralization in housing-related work, and the concepts, policies, and methods of sustainable development.

According to Yemen News Agency, Trainer Najeeb Al-Sharjabi emphasized the importance of the course in developing participants' practical and scientific skills and aiding the transition from routine work to a comprehensive integrated model centered on sustainable development. The training aims to enhance the capacity of the staff in implementing effective development strategies.

The course also covers the role of local authorities in leading development, ways to strengthen cooperation between local authorities and multipurpose cooperatives, and the concept of value chains and their role in local and rural development. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the ongoing efforts in improving housing-related services and fostering sustainable practices.
