Al-hodeidah: The Al-Hali Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association in Al-Hodeidah Governorate hosted a training workshop for development pioneers in the Al-Hali District, engaging 42 trainees to focus on field work and their pivotal role in the district's development initiatives.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop was inaugurated by the Association's Chairman, Mohammed Sili, alongside Secretary-General Dr. Majid Al-Idrisi. They outlined the workshop's key themes, emphasizing the significance of equipping development pioneers with necessary skills to foster community development and enhance women's participation in various district activities.
The workshop also highlighted strategies for advancing cooperative work, aiming to improve economic and social conditions, increase productivity, and support families professionally and economically. This initiative is geared towards strengthening self-sufficiency and aligning with local development goals.
Sili and Al-Idrisi underscored the vital role of development pioneers in raising awareness within neighborhoods and women's groups. They stressed the importance of promoting a culture of cooperative work, encouraging association membership, and reinforcing community solidarity and cooperation to meet construction and development needs.
Engineer Waleed Al-Wasabi, the Association's Executive Director, elaborated on field work themes, survey mechanisms, and awareness strategies. He emphasized steps for joining the association, aiming to broaden women's participation and enhance the impact of development programs.
