Training Workshop on Managing Unified Government Website Successfully Concludes in Sana’a

Sana'a: A training workshop on managing and operating the unified government website, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, concluded in the capital Sana'a. The workshop, which lasted for three days, aimed to equip 20 trainees from various government offices, including the Presidential Office, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Ministries of Information and Youth and Sports, with skills necessary for effective management of the unified government website.

According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop covered key areas such as technical management, media responsibilities, handling complaints, and content management. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Engineer Mohammed al-Mahdi highlighted the importance of the workshop in empowering government entities to manage their digital presence through a unified platform. He stated that this initiative is part of the ministry's strategic efforts to create a cohesive digital platform for government services, facilitating easier access for citizens.

The minister further explained that the unified government website will serve as a singular identity for all ministries, with plans to integrate remaining ministries within the current Hijri year. This aligns with the government's broader reform and development plan, which includes training specialists for managing the unified platform. Al-Mahdi also mentioned that similar workshops will follow for other government agencies to ensure comprehensive integration into the unified website.

The project is designed to streamline processes and improve access to services offered by ministries and government bodies, while maintaining the privacy of each entity. The minister urged workshop participants to implement the skills and knowledge gained into their professional roles. In closing, the Minister of Communications, accompanied by Undersecretaries for Technical Affairs, Engineer Taha Zabara, and for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil, awarded certificates of participation to the attendees.
