Sana'a: The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, conducted an inspection of the workflow and performance levels in the works and roads sectors of the ministry, focusing on job discipline following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the minister toured various departments and units within the sectors, receiving updates from undersecretaries and general directors on the progress of task implementations, particularly those related to service delivery, and the requirements for work development.
During an extensive meeting with the leaders and staff of the works and roads sectors, Minister Qahim discussed task execution and performance improvement in alignment with the leadership's directives and the government's Change and Construction Program. He emphasized the responsibility of all ministry leaders and staff to perform their duties diligently and maintain attendance in the workplace, directing the provision of necessary work resources.
He urged the sectors to double their efforts to fulfill the ministry's tasks, underscoring the importance of their service roles due to their direct impact on citizens. The minister also highlighted the necessity of teamwork and continuous performance improvement, affirming the ministry's leadership's commitment to resolving challenges that might impede performance, ensuring ongoing institutional progress.
