Tree-Planting Campaign Initiated Along Main Road in Al-Marawi’ah District

Sana'a: The Hodeidah Cleaning and Improvement Fund launched a tree-planting campaign on Saturday along the main road and its sides in Al-Marawi'ah District, as part of efforts to enhance the area's appearance, improve the environment, and expand green spaces.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Fund's Executive Director, Abdulnasser Al-Sharif, stated that the initiative aligns with the fund's plans to improve the province's urban landscape and create a healthy and safe environment aimed at reducing pollution. The Fund, in collaboration with local authorities and the community, is executing ongoing tree-planting campaigns across various districts due to their positive effect on the environment and public health, contributing to local development plans.

District Director Abdullah Al-Marouni praised the fund's environmental initiatives, affirming the local authority's support for projects that serve citizens and enhance the district's public image. He also urged residents to help protect the planted trees and cooperate to ensure the campaign's success and objectives.
