Sana'a:A tribal mediation effort has successfully resolved a homicide case between the Al-Jamrah clan of the Hadda tribes in New Sana'a district and the Al-Hajar clan of the Khawlan tribes in Sana'a governorate. The resolution was achieved through reconciliation proceedings attended by notable figures, including Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Daifallah Rassam and overseen by Sana'a Governor Abdulbasit Al-Hadi, along with tribal sheikhs Ali Qirshah, Ali Al-Musami, and Khalid Al-Jarashi.
According to Yemen News Agency, the family of the victim, Mohammed Ali Hajar, pardoned the perpetrator, Ahmed Hamoud Al-Jamrah, for the sake of God Almighty and in honor of those present at the proceedings. Rassam commended the victim's family for their magnanimous decision to pardon and drop the case, noting that this act aligns with the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who has been advocating for the resolution of disputes and the cessation of conflicts and blood feuds.
Rassam further praised all those involved in reconciling the two parties, emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity in facing the country's exceptional circumstances due to aggression and blockade by hegemonic powers, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel, along with their allies. He urged prioritizing national interest to prevent these forces from exploiting disputes to create strife and division.
Members of the mediation committee also lauded the victim's family for their generous decision, highlighting it as a testament to the values of Yemeni tribal traditions. The committee expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the peaceful settlement, calling on tribes to uphold national interest, promote brotherhood, and resolve disputes amicably.
The family of Mohammed Ali Hajar stated their decision to pardon was driven by a desire to foster tolerance and brotherhood, especially as the country continues to endure external aggression and a blockade.
