Inner haima: A tribal mediation in the Inner Haima district of Sana'a Governorate has successfully brought an end to a 22-year-old murder case involving the Al-Tarifi family from the Bilad Al-Qabail area. The mediation was spearheaded by Sheikh Ali al-Basha, along with several notable figures from the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the mediation efforts culminated in the victim's family, led by Ali Mohsen Mohammed al-Tarifi, granting forgiveness to the accused, Mohammed Hussein Zaid al-Tarifi, as an act of goodwill and in honor of the attendees. The reconciliation was witnessed by Hamid Rajih, the governor's advisor, and Mohammed al-Ghubah, the mobilization officer for the Bilad al-Qabail district.
The mediation committee commended the victim's family for their honorable decision to embrace reconciliation, in line with tribal customs. This decision was made to seek divine approval and to adhere to the guidance of the revolution's leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, who emphasized the importance of preventing bloodshed, fostering unity, and reinforcing the social fabric in the face of external threats.
Attendees acknowledged the vital role played by the mediation committee, which included individuals such as Sheikh Mukhtar Ahmed Rajih, Adnan al-Raadi, Ghamdan, Bilal, and Amer al-Tarifi. They affirmed that such actions are crucial in gaining divine favor and opposing the nation's adversaries.
