Al-qafr: A large tribal meeting was convened on Friday in the Al-Qafr district of the Ibb governorate, under the leadership of Governor Abdulwahid Salah, to discuss preparations for the central event commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the governorate's mobilization officer, Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, along with tribal leaders, dignitaries, and prominent social figures from the district. The discussions focused on finalizing preparations for the event and enhancing coordination among the diverse community groups involved.
Governor Salah highlighted the necessity for the people of Al-Qafr District to actively participate in the Prophet's birthday celebrations, reinforcing values of brotherhood, solidarity, and adherence to the Islamic faith. He regarded the commemoration as an opportunity to increase awareness of the Prophet Muhammad's life and to draw inspiration from his values.
The governor urged for the unity of official and community efforts and emphasized the need for heightened coordination and preparedness to ensure the success of the events. He pointed out the importance of using these activities to strengthen social cohesion and address challenges facing the nation.
Governor Salah also warned against aligning with the Saudi enemy and engaging in activities that further their plans, stressing that such involvement only serves the objectives of hostile forces. He called on community leaders to continue mobilizing efforts and unifying ranks to support community work and achieve national victory.
The mobilization official affirmed the critical role of the people of Al-Qafr in the celebrations' success and praised the district's leaders for their initiatives in organizing activities and making early preparations.
