Sana'a: A tribal mediation in Sana'a Governorate successfully resolved a murder case between the Al-Jalhoum and Al-Aqbi families of Bani Hakim, Arhab District, which claimed the life of the victim, Radwan Khaled Mohammed Abdullah Al-Aqbi.
According to Yemen News Agency, the reconciliation was overseen by Sana'a Governor Abdul Basit Al-Hadi and led by prominent sheikhs including Jihad Aiza, Adnan Saad, Abdullah Hanash, Riyash Al-Hakami, and Abdullah Jalhoum. The legal heirs of the victim, Khaled Mohammed Abdullah and his brothers, Ali Mohammed Abdullah and Adel Mohammed Abdullah, extended a general pardon to the perpetrator, Omar Abdullah Yahya Al-Jalhoum, in a gesture of forgiveness and mercy. This act was in line with the directives of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, Leader of the Revolution, who emphasized resolving murder and revenge disputes peacefully.
During the reconciliation event, attendees praised the victim's heirs for their magnanimity and decision to drop the case, highlighting the cohesive nature of Yemeni society and its commitment to tribal brotherhood. The actions of the Al-Aqbi family were seen as a response to the Leader of the Revolution's call to foster tolerance and reconciliation.
The participants also acknowledged the efforts of those who facilitated the reconciliation, noting that the actions of the tribal members reflected a strong sense of national awareness and responsibility. This unity is essential to counter attempts to create sedition and conflict within the community.
They urged all tribes and members of Yemeni society to follow the example set by the Al-Aqbi family, commending their dedication to tribal and religious values and redirecting enmity toward the American and Israeli adversaries.
