Tribal Reconciliation in Baydha Ends Sarar Qifa Case in Wald Rabi’ District

Baydha: A tribal reconciliation in Baydha Governorate concluded the case involving the deaths of three members of the Sarar Qifa tribe and four members of the Central Security Forces in the Wald Rabi' district, achieved through the efforts of local authority leadership and security services.

According to Yemen News Agency, the reconciliation was facilitated by Governor Abdullah Idris, Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Siqal, Security Director Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Sharafi, and Assistant Military Region Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Qubli. The families of the victims expressed forgiveness and pardon, acknowledging the leadership's role in addressing the issue and promoting societal values of tolerance and reconciliation.

Governor Abdullah Idris commended the families' decision to forgive, highlighting that this act reflects the authentic tribal customs and values that foster unity and wisdom. He attributed the resolution to the involvement and follow-up of revolutionary and political leadership, along with the support of individuals committed to resolving disputes.

Security Director Al-Sharafi praised the victims' families for their decision, noting that forgiveness exemplifies high moral standards and responsibility, reinforcing security and stability. He assured that the security forces are dedicated to maintaining peace, collaborating with local authorities and community leaders to protect citizens.

Brigadier General Ali Al-Rassas, commander of the Central Security Forces in Shabwa Governorate, emphasized that the reconciliation reflects Yemeni society's core values of tolerance and forgiveness. He lauded the families for their honorable stance, which supports efforts to ensure security and resolve conflicts, fostering brotherhood and solidarity.

The reconciliation ceremony, attended by Sheikh Hassan Al-Salali and Sheikh Wadih Al-Sarhani, underscored the importance of tolerance and conflict resolution, promoting social peace and serving the community's interests. Key attendees also included the Director of the Provincial Legal Office, Hussein Al-Hassani, and the Director of Investigations for the Provincial Police, Colonel Mohammed Al-Khatib.
