Sana'a: The people of New Sana'a district, the provincial capital, have organized a significant armed tribal gathering in collaboration with mobilization forces to declare their readiness to end the ongoing aggression and blockade. This event, held on Saturday, marks a coordinated effort by the local tribes to prepare for the completion of the homeland's liberation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tribes of New Sana'a expressed their determination to wage a battle that aims to lift the blockade and end the aggression. The gathering is seen as a progressive step towards alleviating the suffering caused by the long-standing aggression and blockade. Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, Dhaifallah Rassam, highlighted the gathering's large turnout as a reflection of the tribes' social awareness and their commitment to confronting enemies and achieving national causes.
Rassam urged all Yemeni tribes to unite against the aggression and break the siege that has burdened the Yemeni people for over 11 years, with the goal of reclaiming resources and independence. A statement from the rally, attended by key officials including the governor's deputies and the provincial security director, affirmed their preparedness to face any future developments.
The statement also outlined the district's support for the revolutionary leader's stance on the anniversary of the Prophet's migration, their opposition to American and Israeli actions, and their commitment to the axis of jihad and resistance. It emphasized readiness to counter any escalation by American and Israeli forces aiming to isolate Gaza or target regional fronts.
The tribes called for stronger Islamic brotherhood bonds among resistance and jihad-aligned countries to address Zionist-American threats. They encouraged district residents to participate in the Al-Aqsa Flood training courses and continue mobilizing to end aggression and lift the siege.
Furthermore, the statement lauded the Yemeni armed forces for intercepting Saudi warplanes attempting to block an Iranian civilian aircraft from landing at Sana'a International Airport, a bold move against the nearly 11-year siege.
Participants at the rally pledged support and solidarity with the armed forces, expressing readiness to break the siege, alleviate Yemeni suffering, liberate the homeland, and expel occupiers.
