Al-mahweet: The tribes of Shibam Kawkaban in Al-Mahweet governorate have declared a tribal mobilization and readiness to confront aggression and lift the blockade, in alignment with a call from the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
According to Yemen News Agency, the mobilization event was attended by prominent figures including members of Parliament Ammar Khamis, Shura Council member Saleh Murshid, the Secretary-General of the Governorate, Dr. Ali al-Zaykum, Assistant Commander of the Fifth Military Region Brigadier General Ahmed Abbas, and the Governorate's Mobilization Officer, Ismail Sharaf al-Din. The participants expressed their commitment to defending the homeland's sovereignty and independence and readiness to implement measures to end the aggression and blockade.
The assembly reiterated their mandate to the revolutionary leadership to take decisive actions against any escalation and to expel occupiers from Yemeni territory. A call for general mobilization was made, urging the deployment of more trainees to training centers to enhance readiness against potential threats to national security.
The tribal mobilization statement underscored the importance of unity, strengthening the internal front, and upholding national values. It emphasized the Yemeni people's resolve to counteract hostile plots and achieve victory.
The statement also confirmed ongoing efforts for general mobilization, the establishment of training centers, and the development of programs to raise awareness and preparedness. It urged the Yemeni people to maintain unity, embrace freedom and independence, and reject foreign influence.
In addition, the statement expressed unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and solidarity with the resistance axis, highlighting this as a religious, moral, and humanitarian duty. It also conveyed gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its supportive role in easing the blockade on Yemen and addressing the suffering of its people.
