Mahliyah: The General Mobilization in Mahliyah District of Marib Governorate organized a cultural evening commemorating the martyrdom of the Ally of the Quran, Imam Zaid (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, the evening, held in Al-Amoud sub-district and attended by local, mobilization, and military leaders, featured speeches that reviewed aspects of Imam Zaid's life and his jihadist stances in confronting injustice and tyranny.
The speeches highlighted that the oppression endured by Imam Zaid reveals the extent of fear his liberationist project instilled in the forces of tyranny and arrogance. They emphasized that his approach, based on enjoining good and forbidding evil, remains a source of inspiration for free people across the ages.
The speakers noted that the Yemeni people's steadfastness today and their sacrifices in confronting aggression represent a practical extension of Imam Zaid's path and an embodiment of the values of dignity and honor he carried until he attained martyrdom.
They called for drawing lessons from Imam Zaid's biography in confronting aggression, strengthening community awareness, adhering to the principles of freedom and independence, and rejecting projects of hegemony and subjugation.
