Lahj: The stations of the Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Research Center recorded two earthquakes in the eastern Gulf of Aden and Al-Madharebah district of Lahj governorate. According to Yemen News Agency, the center's head, Engineer Mohammed Al-Houthi, explained that the first earthquake was recorded at 6:43 p.m. in the eastern Gulf of Aden. It registered a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The second earthquake was recorded at 7:48 a.m. in Al-Madharebah district in Lahj governorate. This tremor had a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale and also occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
