Raymah: Offices of Zakat, Endowments, Information, Social Insurance, Social Welfare Fund, Civil Service, Post, and Culture in Raymah Governorate organized a public event on Monday marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) under the slogan: 'Far from us is humiliation.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the governorate's mobilization official Mohammed Al-Nahari, along with directors, staff of the participating offices, and local and security leaders. During the event, speeches highlighted lessons and insights drawn from the commemoration of Ashura. The speeches described Ashura as an important milestone and a comprehensive school of lessons needed today in confronting forces described as enemies, as well as in addressing internal challenges and reshaping perceptions of adversaries. Speakers noted that the Yemeni people draw from the legacy of Imam Hussein values of steadfastness and courage in facing current challenges.

In a separate event held in Al-Salafiyah District marking Ashura, and attended by Shura Council member Mansour Al-Muntasir along with official and community figures, speeches referenced well-known prophetic traditions across Islamic schools regarding the virtues of Imam Hussein and his close relation to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). Speakers emphasized the spiritual and revolutionary dimensions of the occasion, describing it as a moment of awareness and insight in confronting oppression, reviving the spirit of sacrifice, and resilience in the Islamic nation.
