Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted thundery rainfall of varying intensity across several governorates within the next 24 hours. This announcement highlights the potential for significant weather changes that may affect daily activities in the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that parts of the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Dhamar, Raymah, Hajjah, and Al-Mahwit are expected to experience rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunder. Additionally, scattered rainfall, possibly with thunder, is anticipated over parts of the highlands in Lahj, Al-Bayda, Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramout, as well as the western parts of Sana'a, Amran, and Saada, including areas within the Tihama Plain.
The center has issued warnings to residents in regions forecasted to receive rainfall about the risk of flash floods in ravines and valleys. Citizens are advised to avoid areas at risk and refrain from crossing paths that may be affected by sudden water surges.
