Hodeidah: The University of Science and Technology, Hodeidah branch, organized on Saturday a commemorative event marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Mohammed Hulaisi stated that Yemenis' celebration of the Prophet's birth reflects their deep love and strong bond with him, as well as the values carried by his message in confronting tyranny and domination.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Leimah, Director of the University branch, highlighted aspects of the noble biography of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. He noted that the religious occasion reflects the enduring presence of faith-based identity in the hearts of generations and renews the pledge to follow the Prophet's path in upholding justice, mercy, and solidarity.
Sheikh Ali Odhabi, Vice President of Dar Al-Uloom University of Sharia, emphasized the importance of drawing great lessons from the Prophet's life, stressing that awareness of his message is the strongest weapon in confronting intellectual and media warfare targeting the nation.
Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Al-Worfi, Head of the Guidance Sector in the governorate, said that the Prophet's birth anniversary instills the values of struggle and resilience, affirming that adherence to the Prophet and his family is the way to protect the nation from subjugation and defeat.
Mohammed Al-Wisi, Head of the University Forum, pointed out that commemorating the occasion reflects youth engagement with the values of faith-based identity and embodies their role in enhancing religious and cultural awareness in society.
