Sanaa: The Presidential Committee for Mobilization for the Prophet's Birthday in Al-Safiyah District of the Capital Municipality discussed today the tasks and field work of mobilization committees for events and preparations for the central celebration of this great occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by Committee Head Mahmoud Al-Junaid, committee members including Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid, Member of Parliament Ali Abu Hulayqah, Deputy Ministers of Finance Waled Faye' and Mazen Nu'man of the Capital Municipality, reviewed field work reports implemented within the general plan for activities and events of the Prophet's Birthday in executive offices and neighborhoods of the district, as well as the work of subcommittees.
The meeting approved a schedule of meetings with scholars, preachers, and social figures in coordination between the local council, mobilization bodies, and executive offices in the district, and a program for field visits for community mobilization across all neighborhoods of the district.
Attendees emphasized intensifying official and community efforts to implement the general plan for the Prophet's Birthday and ensure broad participation in carrying out charitable and solidarity activities, cleanliness and decoration campaigns, and showcasing manifestations of celebration and joy for this great occasion at the district level.
Al-Junaid and Al-Mawlid urged continued implementation of preparatory activities and events to commemorate the anniversary of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, Muhammad - peace be upon him and his family - leading to the mobilization and honorable turnout for the major event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
