Al-dhale': Al-Dhale' Governorate witnessed unprecedented crowds on Tuesday at two celebrations held in the squares of the Great Prophet in Damt and Al-Hasha districts, marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, large crowds from villages and localities across the governorate gathered at the two venues, carrying flags, banners, and slogans expressing joy at the religious occasion. Well-organized arrangements facilitated their arrival, capping a series of celebrations held across the governorate.
The people of Al-Dhale' expressed, through their massive turnout and displays of joy, their love and loyalty to Prophet Muhammad, affirming Yemenis' commitment to supporting and honoring the Messenger. The gatherings presented a prominent spiritual scene, with official and popular participation on an unprecedented scale. Participants chanted slogans celebrating the birth of the Prophet, reaffirming their adherence to his morals, values, teachings, and noble life.
The two events were attended in Damt by Civil Service and Administrative Development Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali and his deputy Anas Sufyan, Culture Ministry undersecretaries Abdulhakim Al-Duhyani and Ali Al-Muayyad, General Insurance and Pension Authority Chairman Ibrahim Al-Haifi, governorate officials, and mobilization official Ahmed Al-Marani. In Al-Hasha, the event was attended by Acting Al-Dhale' Governor Abdul Latif Al-Shaghadri.
The massive gatherings reflected the Prophet's deep place in the hearts of the people of Al-Dhale', the significance of his birth anniversary as a renewed spiritual occasion from which Yemenis draw the values and principles he brought to reform society and guide humanity toward salvation and success.
Participants affirmed that commemorating the occasion carries important significance for strengthening the unity and faith-based identity of the Muslim nation, particularly amid conspiracies, crimes, and violations targeting Muslims in various Arab and Islamic countries. They stressed that the Yemeni people remain steadfast in their humanitarian and principled support for Gaza, regardless of sacrifices and challenges.
They also reaffirmed their continued mobilization and preparedness for any options that the current stage may require, amid the battle to break the blockade being waged by the Yemeni Armed Forces to secure the Yemeni people's legitimate rights. The crowds further stressed that honoring the occasion represents a clear response to repeated American and Israeli offenses against the Holy Quran, the Prophet, and Islamic sanctities, affirming that Yemenis take pride in their Prophet and the Holy Quran despite Western attempts to distance them from their faith and Messenger.
