Hajjah: Residents of Hajjah province took part on Friday in unprecedented mass marches under the slogan 'Warning and Mobilization Friday,' declaring readiness for mobilization and issuing a warning to the Saudi regime. Participants in the marches held in the provincial capital and districts chanted slogans expressing anger at what they described as Saudi policies of arrogance and aggression, backed by the US and Israel, accusing them of seeking to subjugate the Yemeni people through more than 11 years of blockade.
According to Yemen News Agency, the demonstrators renewed their full authorization for Houthi leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi to take what he considers necessary to confront Saudi actions, lift the blockade, and end the conflict. They affirmed their readiness to continue the struggle to defend the country, end what they called aggression, blockade, and recover national resources. The marches were attended by Hajjah Governor Hilal al-Soufi, local council Secretary-General Ismail al-Muhaim, provincial officials, security, social leaders, and other local figures.
A statement issued by the marches said the gathering represented a commitment to Allah, rejection of submission to what it called 'tyrants and enemies,' a popular and official mobilization aimed at breaking the blockade, ending the conflict, restoring resources and freedom. The statement said the Yemeni people, through their faith and determination, have chosen freedom, dignity, independence, and will not accept losing their decision-making power or having their needs controlled by others.
It renewed full authorization for Abdulmalik al-Houthi to take all necessary decisions and affirmed support for positions concerning regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause and Al-Aqsa Mosque. The statement declared that the Yemeni people authorize al-Houthi to take measures to protect freedom, dignity, and national independence, lift what it described as injustice, suffering, reopen Yemen's airports, ports, and recover its resources. It added that the people would not accept what it described as 'submission to the Saudi enemy, its American and Israeli backers,' saying they preferred sacrifice over surrender.
The statement added: 'We affirm to the Leader that the people whom you said you would sacrifice your dear life for reciprocate your loyalty, appreciation, and that their souls are dedicated to you. Your stance comes as no surprise, as you have devoted your life and all your time in the path of Allah, serving your people and nation, defending their causes and rights, confronting all challenges, alliances, and the largest forces of evil without hesitation or retreat. We tell you what our Ansar ancestors told your grandfather, the Messenger of Allah: 'By Allah, if you led us into this sea, we would cross it with you. We do not dislike that you face our enemy tomorrow with us. We are steadfast in war and truthful in confrontation. Perhaps Allah will show you from us what pleases your eyes. So lead us forward with Allah's blessings.''
The statement noted that 'the Yemeni people understood that their decision for freedom, independence, dignity, supporting Gaza, and defeating the armies of the forces of evil in recent rounds would not be tolerated by the powers of tyranny, which would seek revenge against the Yemeni people. Nevertheless, we chose the path of jihad in the cause of Allah and will not allow them to achieve their plans; their schemes will turn back against them.'
It affirmed that 'the Yemeni people will consider their insistence on the blockade as a full-scale war. All of this is merely a warning; our true demand is reciprocal punishment: blockade for blockade, airport for airport, tooth for tooth, and eye for eye. Regardless of how far our response goes, it will not reach even a fraction of the injustice previously committed by the criminal Saudi enemy against our people.'
The statement called on 'the armed forces to raise the level of response, affirming that we are at the highest levels of readiness for all that the battle requires in terms of supporting the fronts and making sacrifices, relying on Allah, confident in His victory and assistance.'
The statement of the marches expressed gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the brotherly Iranian people for the humanitarian and fraternal step of seeking to break the blockade and sending civilian aircraft to Yemen to transport patients, wounded people, stranded individuals, and those wishing to travel to meet their various needs. It said this was not surprising from Iran, which has stood with the oppressed since its first days, supported Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and confronted Zionist schemes.'
The statement reaffirmed the 'firm, ongoing, principled, moral, and faith-based stance toward the central cause of the nation: Palestine, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the suffering of Gaza; alongside Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the axis of jihad, resistance, and Al-Quds. It also reiterated its stance against and disavowal of the enemies of Allah, in obedience to Allah's commands, stressing that it would not retreat or change course until Allah grants victory and a clear triumph. Victory comes only from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise.'
