El-fashir: The El-Fashir Tekkiya (community charity kitchen) issued an urgent humanitarian appeal today concerning four children who lost both parents in El-Fashir amid ongoing humanitarian hardships. Their mother, Amani Ahmed, was killed more than a month ago following repeated attacks by the terrorist Dagalo militia, after the earlier death of their father.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Tekkiya reported that citizen Salha Ahmed Mohamed, a displaced woman from the southern neighborhoods of El-Fashir, has volunteered to shelter the children despite her own dire living conditions. It stressed that the four children are in urgent need of food and care, and appealed to anyone with information about their family to contact its volunteers immediately.
The Tekkiya called on philanthropists and kind-hearted people to extend assistance, affirming that every contribution could help save the children's lives.
The four are: Mohamed Ahmed Siddig Abdallah (12), Imad Ahmed Siddig Abdallah (9), Malaz Ahmed Siddig Abdallah (5), and Ayman Ahmed Siddig Abdallah (9 months).
