Sanaa: On this day, June 19, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression committed horrific massacres that claimed the lives of dozens of citizens, including women and children.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tragic events began on June 19, 2015, when airstrikes targeted the home of citizen Adel Abdullah in the Ghamar area of Razih district, Saada governorate, resulting in the deaths of 12 family members, mostly women and children. Simultaneously, additional airstrikes in the Bani Mu'een area claimed the lives of another 12 citizens, leaving many injured. The aggression continued with raids on various districts, including Kitaf, Al-Dhahir, Sana'a, and Aden, causing widespread destruction.
The following year, June 19, 2016, saw relentless attacks with aggression aircraft launching raids on Nihm district in Sana'a governorate. Mercenaries targeted Rayman, Bani Bariq, Malah, and Al-Hawl areas with artillery and rockets, affecting citizens' homes in Sirwah district and other regions across Yemen.
On June 19, 2017, aggression aircraft intensified their operations, injuring citizens in the Bab Al-Falaq area of Anas district. Cluster bombs and numerous airstrikes affected several governorates, including Saada, Hajjah, and Al-Hodeida, where commercial properties and markets were severely damaged.
The aggression continued on June 19, 2018, with a devastating airstrike on a passenger bus near Al-Gharasi roundabout in Al-Hodeida city, resulting in the deaths of six citizens. Airstrikes also targeted Al-Hodeida International Airport and various districts, further escalating the humanitarian crisis.
June 19, 2019, marked another year of violence, with mercenaries shelling neighborhoods in Salah district, Taiz governorate, and disrupting examination centers in Hajjah governorate. Artillery shelling and machine-gun fire continued to target areas in Al-Hodeida and Saada, causing significant civilian casualties and property damage.
In 2020, June 19 witnessed injuries to children and an elderly woman from Saudi missile and artillery shelling in Shada district, Saada governorate. Aggression aircraft targeted multiple governorates, including Amran, Hajjah, Al-Bayda, and Marib, with numerous raids, exacerbating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The cycle of violence persisted on June 19, 2021, with airstrikes in Kitaf and Al-Dhahir districts, and shelling in Sirwah district, Marib governorate. Mercenaries launched extensive artillery rounds in Al-Hodeida governorate, inflicting further hardships on the civilian population.
On June 19, 2022, reconnaissance aircraft launched raids on citizens' homes in Al-Jawf governorate. Mercenaries fortified positions around Marib city, targeting various governorates with rocket and artillery shelling, leading to injuries and destruction of homes and properties.
Most recently, on June 19, 2023, spy aircraft launched raids in Taiz and Al-Hodeida governorates. Mercenaries established combat fortifications and continued shelling, further destabilizing the region and perpetuating a cycle of violence and despair.
