Sana'a: On this day, May 23, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its mercenaries targeted mosques, fuel stations, citizens' homes and farms, and shops in several provinces, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens, including women and children.
According to Yemen News Agency, on May 23, 2015, three children were martyred and six others, including a woman, were injured as a result of the aggression aircraft targeting the Guard camp in Kilo 16 in Al-Durayhimi district in Al-Hudaydah province, alongside the Roads Authority and Al-Awadi factory. In Amran province, three citizens were injured following the bombing of Al-Qahoum fuel station and a nearby mosque. The aggression aircraft also launched raids on roads linking Al-Qaflah district and Amran province, and on cities in Hajjah province.
In Sana'a province, the Reserve Forces camp and Dhabwah camp were targeted, and Faj Attan in the Capital Secretariat suffered a series of raids. Sirwah, Haylan, and Al-Jadaan in Marib province were also attacked. Saada province's Al-Malahidh area faced missile strikes, while homes and farms were repeatedly targeted, resulting in civilian casualties.
On May 23, 2016, the aggression aircraft launched attacks on Al-Khadam camp in Bani Hushaysh district, and in Taiz province, aggression mercenaries destroyed shrines and targeted areas with artillery shelling. In Saada province, multiple areas faced aerial and missile attacks.
By May 23, 2017, mortar shells fired by aggression mercenaries in Taiz province resulted in civilian casualties. Various districts across multiple provinces, including Maqbanah, Al-Mokha, and Midi, experienced aerial bombardments.
On May 23, 2018, a raid on a mango farm in Al-Hodeida province left several citizens martyred. In Saada province, public roads and residential areas were targeted, affecting civilians and infrastructure.
A year later, on May 23, 2019, aggression mercenaries continued artillery shelling in Taiz province. Residential and commercial areas in Al-Hodeida city faced heavy weapon attacks, while Saudi missile shelling targeted Saada province.
The aggression continued on May 23, 2020, with raids in Al-Jawf and Marib provinces, causing further destruction. By May 23, 2021, the aggression led to more civilian casualties, including in the border district of Munabbih in Saada province.
On May 23, 2022, aggression mercenaries established combat fortifications in several provinces, and artillery shelling continued to target civilian areas. By May 23, 2023, aggression spy aircraft had launched raids on Al-Hodeida province, while mercenaries built combat structures and shelled areas with artillery fire.
The ongoing aggression has consistently resulted in significant civilian casualties and destruction across multiple Yemeni provinces.
