Sana'a: On this historical day, June 28, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its mercenaries launched multiple attacks targeting infrastructure, government buildings, and civilian homes throughout Yemen, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries, including women and children. According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression's air force has been relentless over the years. On June 28, 2015, they launched raids on the old Marib Dam and a citizen's farm in the Al-Ashraf area, leading to a massive fire. The same day saw attacks on the airport area in the Sirwah district and the Kofal camp. In 2016, the aggression's air force struck the Haifan junction market in Taiz governorate, resulting in 26 civilian deaths and ten injuries. The mercenaries also launched several other raids and shelling attacks across various districts, affecting many areas, including Maqbanah, Al-Wazi'iyah, and Marib Governorate. The pattern continued in 2017, with airstrikes causing injuries and damage in areas like Razih District, Sana'a G overnorate, and Hajjah Governorate. The mercenaries even targeted citizens' homes and farms in Marib Governorate with intense artillery shelling. In 2018, the aggression's air force conducted 20 raids on al-Hodeidah Governorate, and Apache helicopters bombarded al-Tuhayta District with over 100 missiles. Attacks across various governorates, including Sa'ada and Jizan, resulted in extensive damage. The following year, in 2019, eight civilians were killed when an airstrike targeted a citizen's home in Taiz governorate. Other attacks that year injured civilians and caused significant property damage in regions like Saada and Lahj governorates. In 2020, airstrikes on Marib governorate and other areas resulted in destruction and damage to civilian homes. The aggression's forces targeted cities with artillery shells, affecting public and private properties. By 2021, the aggression's air force intensified its attacks in the Sirwah district of Marib governorate with 29 raids, leading to further damage. Several ot her districts in Sa'dah and Jawf governorates also experienced raids. On June 28, 2022, the aggression's mercenaries fortified positions in Sa'dah governorate and engaged in shelling across various governorates, including Ma'rib, Hajjah, and Dhale'a, causing widespread damage. Most recently, on June 28, 2024, an unexploded ordnance explosion in Al-Durayhimi District in Hodeida Governorate killed a citizen. Additionally, an airstrike injured two children in Hajjah Governorate, highlighting the ongoing conflict's impact on civilians.
