Hodeida: The local authority and General Mobilization Office in Al-Marawiah district of Hodeida governorate organized a cultural and rhetorical evening on Monday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including Member of Parliament Hussein Qasira, Assistant Governor Ahmed Dahmous, Al-Marawiah Court Chief Madeen Tanqar, and the district's Public Prosecutor Abdullah Al-Waqidi. Al-Marawiah District Director Abdullah Al-Marouni emphasized the significance of remembering the Prophet's birthday and the importance of drawing lessons from his life, particularly in the context of supporting the oppressed and confronting tyranny.
Al-Marouni highlighted that this year's commemoration coincides with what he termed the 'battle to break the blockade,' which is being waged by the armed forces to secure Yemeni rights. He confirmed that the residents across Al-Marawiah's villages and localities are actively participating in mobilization activities and are prepared for any necessary actions.
District Mobilization Official Hamadi Matwan noted that celebrating the Prophet's birthday reinforces the values he embodied and strengthens adherence to his teachings. He mentioned that mobilization and training activities are ongoing throughout the district.
In a speech representing the scholars, Yahya Maqbouli stated that commemorating the Prophet's birthday showcases adherence to religious identity and emulation of the Prophet's life. He attributed current challenges facing the Muslim community to a departure from the Prophet's teachings and called for unity and adherence to these teachings to strengthen solidarity against the Saudi adversary and its plans.
