US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Causes Extensive Damage and Casualties Across Yemen

Sana'a: On this day, July 9, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched numerous airstrikes on tourist, agricultural, and service facilities, resulting in casualties and widespread destruction. Over the years, these aggressive actions have left a trail of devastation, affecting civilians and infrastructure across various regions in Yemen.

According to Yemen News Agency, on July 9, 2015, ten civilians lost their lives due to an airstrike on the Al-Naqil checkpoint in the Farzat Nihm area on the Marib-Sana'a road. The aggression also targeted the Al-Hafa area in Sana'a, and seven citizens were killed in Amran Governorate during an airstrike on a popular market in Khaiwan. These airstrikes also severely affected a gas station and the main highway in Wadi Khamer.

In subsequent years, the aggression continued its bombardment. On July 9, 2016, airstrikes targeted multiple districts in Jawf, Amran, and Sana'a governorates. Shelling by mercenaries further compounded the destruction in areas such as Kahboub in Lahj governorate and Sarari in Taiz governorate, causing havoc to civilian populations and their properties.

By 2017, the aggression had expanded, impacting regions like Marib, Saada, Hajjah, and Jawf governorates. Airstrikes resulted in the destruction of civilian homes and damage to farmlands. The continuous bombardment caused significant material damage, furthering the humanitarian crisis in the region.

In 2018, airstrikes continued to target residential and commercial areas, including communications networks and civilian properties in Saada and Lahj governorates. The air force's actions caused severe damage to infrastructure and affected the livelihoods of countless civilians.

The aggression's tactics remained unchanged in 2019, with airstrikes and artillery shelling affecting various districts in Hodeida and Marib governorates. The ongoing conflict injured women and children, and numerous properties bore the brunt of the relentless attacks.

Throughout 2020, the coalition's air force launched multiple raids in Marib, Hodeida, and Saada governorates, exacerbating the destruction of infrastructure and civilian properties. The use of artillery and machine guns by mercenaries intensified the conflict's impact on the local populace.

In 2021, the aggression continued unabated, with airstrikes causing injuries and damage across Hajjah, Bayda, Marib, and Jawf governorates. The use of spy planes and artillery shelling by mercenaries further destabilized regions like Hodeida, causing additional civilian suffering.

The year 2022 saw reconnaissance aircraft targeting districts in Hodeida and Bayda governorates, while mercenaries established fortifications and shelled multiple areas, including Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, and Saada governorates, inflicting further devastation.

By 2023, the aggression's reconnaissance aircraft launched raids in Taiz and Hodeida governorates. Mercenaries continued to build combat fortifications and bombarded numerous areas with artillery and firearms, perpetuating the cycle of violence and destruction in Yemen.
