Sana’a: On this day, February 15, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted mourning gatherings, farms, workshops, homes, and service facilities, which led to the martyrdom and injury of many civilians and the destruction of infrastructure and private property.
According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression’s aircraft launched multiple raids over the years, starting from February 15, 2016, when four farmers were martyred in Wadi Sardoud in Hodeida Governorate. The aircraft also targeted the western gate of Hodeida Airport and the university neighborhood. In Amran, two citizens were injured due to attacks on the Cement Factory workshop, causing significant material damage. In Sa’ada Governorate, a citizen was injured, and two cars were burned in the Al-Ja’mala area in Majz District. The aggression continued with attacks on multiple other districts, leading to severe damage to agricultural lands and private properties.
The aggression’s air force also launched attacks on significant landmarks. On February 15, 2017, eight women and children were killed, and ten others injured in an airstrike on a condolence council in Sana’a Governorate. The air force conducted additional strikes across several districts, employing cluster bombs and causing widespread destruction in areas like Sirwah, Mocha, and Al-Khokha.
On February 15, 2018, a citizen was killed in Sa’ada, and further airstrikes led to material damage across various districts. The aggression’s aircraft targeted Haradh and Midi districts in Hajjah with 12 airstrikes and launched multiple other attacks across Taiz and the capital, Sana’a.
The following year, on February 15, 2019, saw continued aggression with airstrikes in Baqim district in Sa’ada and artillery shelling by the Saudi army. In Hodeida, mercenaries targeted farms and citizens’ properties, creating new fortifications in the Kilo 16 area.
By February 15, 2020, the aggression resulted in 32 citizens’ deaths, including women and children, due to attacks near the wreckage of a Tornado aircraft in Jawf Governorate. The aggression also targeted various areas in Hodeida Governorate, using artillery and guided missiles.
On February 15, 2021, the aggression’s aircraft launched multiple raids on Sa’ada and Marib Governorates, causing damage to citizens’ property. The border areas experienced Saudi missile and artillery shelling, while Hodeida suffered from bombardment by mercenaries.
The next year, on February 15, 2022, three citizens were killed by a landmine explosion in Hodeida Governorate. Spy aircraft conducted raids, and mercenaries bombed several areas with artillery shells and live ammunition. The aggression’s aircraft targeted Haradh District in Hajjah Governorate and other significant areas, causing considerable disruption and destruction.
