US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Marks April 23 with Historical Airstrikes

Sana'a: On this day, April 23, history recalls the tragic events resulting from airstrikes by the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition. The aggression targeted educational facilities, citizens' homes, farms, and even wedding parties, leading to numerous martyrs and wounded individuals, marking these as war crimes.

According to Yemen News Agency, on April 23, 2015, an airstrike by the coalition's aircraft on the Community College in Yarim District, Ibb Governorate, caused the death of a citizen and injured 14 others. The attack resulted in significant damage to classrooms, equipment, and neighboring houses. The aggression also targeted a security zone in Al-Kadakid area, affecting the Al-Qafr and Al-Makhadir districts, and severely damaged the Training and Rehabilitation Institute in Al-Suhul area.

In the same year, Hodeida International Airport was targeted, with its runway, dock, and VIP hall being hit, leading to its closure. The following year, 2016, saw more airstrikes in Al-Taiziyah District, Taiz Governorate, and mercenaries shelled a plastic factory, causing a fire. They also attacked farms and homes in various districts with artillery and mortar shells.

On April 23, 2017, aggression aircraft targeted Sanhan and Bani Bahloul District, Sana'a Governorate, causing severe damage to private property and farms. The year 2018 marked the death of President Saleh Al-Sammad due to an airstrike in Hodeida Governorate, while an airstrike on a wedding party in Hajjah Governorate resulted in 33 deaths and 55 injuries.

By April 23, 2019, the aggression continued with Saudi border guards killing a citizen in Saada Governorate, and mercenaries targeting homes in Al-Jawf Governorate with Katyusha rockets. In Hodeida Governorate, military fortifications were established, and several areas were shelled with artillery and missiles.

The following year, 2020, saw the death of a three-year-old child and injuries to family members due to artillery shelling in Al-Bayda Governorate. Airstrikes and artillery shelling continued to cause damage across multiple districts, affecting populated areas and infrastructure.

On April 23, 2021, a citizen was injured by Saudi artillery in Saada Governorate, and multiple airstrikes were conducted in Hajjah and Marib Governorates. The aggression's mercenaries established new combat fortifications and continued shelling various areas.

The aggression persisted into April 23, 2022, with mercenaries establishing combat fortifications and shelling areas in Hodeida Governorate. Reconnaissance aircraft also launched airstrikes, continuing the cycle of violence and destruction.
