Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast thunderstorms of varying intensity and scattered rainfall across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center indicates that thunderstorms of varying intensity are anticipated in the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Raymah, Dhamar, and Ibb.
In addition to these areas, scattered rainfall accompanied by occasional thunder is predicted for parts of the Tihama plain and the highlands of the governorates of Taiz, Al Dhalea, Lahj, Al Bayda, as well as the western regions of Marib and Al Jawf.
The center has issued warnings to citizens regarding potential flash floods in valleys and ravines, advising against being present in or crossing these areas during and after rainfall. There is also a caution against thunderstorms, with advice to avoid proximity to electrical poles and tall trees.
Further warnings were issued about the risk of rockfalls, mudslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountainous slopes due to rainfall and fog formation. The center emphasized the importance of exercising caution in these conditions.
