Sanaa: On this day, August 1, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched dozens of airstrikes targeting infrastructure and citizens' properties, resulting in martyrs and wounded, including women and children.
According to Yemen News Agency, on August 1, 2015, a child was martyred and two others were injured when a remnant of aggression ordnance exploded in the Al Ammar area of Al-Safra District in Saada Governorate. The aggression aircraft also targeted refrigeration warehouses at the Central Market in Ma'bar, Dhamar Governorate, and carried out six airstrikes on Old Marib.
On August 1, 2016, the aggression aircraft launched multiple airstrikes on markets in Saada Governorate, causing extensive material damage. The hostile aircraft extended their bombardment to various districts, including Sana'a, Hajjah, Lahj, Taiz, Shabwah, Marib, and Al-Jawf, targeting both infrastructure and residential areas.
The aggression continued on August 1, 2017, with civilian casualties reported in Al-Jawf and Saada Governorates due to artillery shelling by mercenaries. The aircraft also launched numerous airstrikes across Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Shabwah, and Taiz Governorates, aiming at various civilian and infrastructure targets.
On August 1, 2018, airstrikes targeted homes in Saada Governorate, resulting in fatalities and injuries among women and children. Missile and artillery shelling damaged properties in the border districts of Shada, Munabbih, and Baqim. Airstrikes also hit Al-Hudaydah Governorate and its surrounding areas, affecting civilians and infrastructure.
The aggression persisted on August 1, 2019, with mercenaries targeting Al-Hodeida Governorate, resulting in the martyrdom of a child. The mercenaries also shelled areas with heavy artillery and established new military fortifications.
On August 1, 2020, airstrikes and shelling continued across various governorates, including Saada, Sana'a, Al-Jawf, Marib, and Al-Hodeida, impacting residential areas and civilian properties.
On August 1, 2021, the aggression aircraft targeted Marib Governorate with multiple airstrikes, as mercenaries established military fortifications in Al-Hodeida and continued artillery shelling in the region.
On August 1, 2022, airstrikes were launched by reconnaissance aircraft in Al-Dhalea and Taiz Governorates. The mercenaries established new military fortifications in Marib and targeted various governorates with artillery shelling.
On August 1, 2023, four citizens were injured by Saudi army fire in Saada Governorate, and a child was seriously injured by an unexploded ordnance in Al-Hodeida Governorate. The reconnaissance aircraft continued airstrikes, with mercenaries establishing military fortifications and shelling various areas.
