Sana'a: On this day, September 7, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched numerous airstrikes targeting residential neighborhoods and infrastructure, resulting in significant casualties and destruction across various regions.
According to Yemen News Agency, on September 7, 2015, four airstrikes by the aggression aircraft on a residential neighborhood in Yarim City, Ibb Governorate, led to the martyrdom of 12 citizens, including women and children, and injured more than 54 others. The Saudi enemy forces also launched missile and artillery attacks in several districts of Saada Governorate, causing widespread damage to homes and infrastructure.
In subsequent years, the aggression continued its assault on the region. In 2016, airstrikes and missile shelling in Saada Governorate resulted in the destruction of a school and several homes, along with the death of a child and injuries to others. The following years saw similar patterns of aggression, with airstrikes targeting various districts, causing civilian casualties and extensive property damage.
By 2017, the aggression had expanded its operations to include airstrikes in Taiz, Hajjah, Al-Jawf, and other governorates, further compounding the humanitarian crisis in the region. In 2018, the aggression aircraft targeted farms, homes, and infrastructure across multiple districts, leading to injuries and the destruction of property.
The pattern of aggression persisted through 2019 and 2020, with airstrikes and shelling causing injuries and significant damage to water tanks and civilian infrastructure. The relentless attacks continued in 2021, including numerous airstrikes in Marib and Hodeida Governorates and targeted attacks on civilians by Saudi border guards.
On September 7, 2022, the aggression marked another year of hostilities with airstrikes and intense artillery shelling across various governorates, targeting both civilian areas and military positions. The attacks continued into 2023, with reconnaissance aircraft launching airstrikes and mercenaries establishing combat fortifications, further escalating tensions in the region.
