US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Marks Series of Attacks Resulting in Civilian Casualties

Sana'a: On this day, August 16, history has witnessed a series of aggressive acts by US-Saudi-UAE forces targeting civilians' homes, properties, and public infrastructure across various regions, leading to significant loss of life and injuries, including women and children.

According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression on August 16, 2015, resulted in the death of 12 family members, including women, children, and the elderly, in Jawf Governorate. An Apache helicopter attack led to the death of a citizen transporting food supplies in Sa'ada Governorate, while other areas were subjected to air raids and missile attacks targeting public roads and villages.

On August 16, 2016, airstrikes on civilian homes in Sana'a Governorate resulted in 14 civilian casualties, including children and women. The aggression also targeted paramedics, homes, and infrastructure, causing extensive damage across several districts.

The following year, on August 16, 2017, missile attacks in Saada Governorate resulted in civilian casualties. Simultaneously, airstrikes and artillery shelling targeted residential areas in Marib, Taiz, and Hajjah Governorates, causing widespread destruction.
