Sana’a: On this day, June 6, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted food tankers, displacement camps, citizens’ homes, and educational and medical institutions, committing crimes that claimed the lives of dozens, including women and children.
According to Yemen News Agency, on June 6, 2015, 20 citizens were killed and others injured due to airstrikes targeting Omar bin Abdulaziz School, doctors’ housing, a health center, and several homes in the Bakil Al-Mir District of Hajjah Governorate. An airstrike on a displaced persons camp in Hairan District resulted in eight deaths and over 50 injuries, and artillery shelling in Dughij village martyred five citizens and wounded others.
In Amran Governorate, four citizens were martyred and others wounded from airstrikes on a transport vehicle and a food supply truck in Harf Sufyan District. Additional airstrikes in Qaflah Athr and Khamir Districts resulted in more casualties.
On June 6, 2016, hostile drones and warplanes launched airstrikes in Marib’s Harib Nihm a
rea and Sirwah District, while on June 6, 2017, Saada Governorate experienced multiple airstrikes and missile shelling, causing injuries and property damage. Similar attacks occurred in Sana’a, Hajjah, Taiz, and Jizan, impacting homes, farms, and other properties.
By June 6, 2018, airstrikes targeted several districts in Taiz, Hajjah, and Saada Governorates, causing structural damage and civilian injuries. In Al-Hodeida, farms were hit, resulting in additional destruction.
On June 6, 2019, aggression aircraft targeted areas in Saada Governorate, destroying telecommunications towers and damaging properties. Attacks in Sana’a, Hajjah, Al-Dhalea, and Marib Governorates caused further material damage.
The aggression continued into June 6, 2020, with multiple airstrikes in Marib, Hajjah, and Al-Hodeida Governorates, damaging public and private properties. On June 6, 2021, airstrikes in Marib and Saada caused further devastation.
By June 6, 2022, mercenaries established fortifications in Marib and Hajjah, launc
hing airstrikes and shelling in several areas, including Taiz, Saada, and Al-Bayda. Artillery shelling targeted more locations in Saada and Jizan.
On June 6, 2023, combat fortifications were built in Al-Hodeida, followed by artillery shelling in various regions, continuing a pattern of aggression that has resulted in ongoing casualties and widespread damage.
