Sana'a: On this day, June 24, dozens of citizens were killed and injured in airstrikes carried out by the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression on a number of governorates.
According to Yemen News Agency, on June 24, 2015, Allama Abdullah Al-Humaidah and five members of his family, including a woman, lost their lives when aggression aircraft targeted his house in Saqain District of Saada Governorate. This airstrike also led to the destruction of several neighboring houses and damage to other homes in the area. In Razih's Barakan and Araba areas, nine citizens were killed and five others injured in similar airstrikes. Additionally, one citizen was killed in a series of airstrikes targeting the Karkar area in Bani Bahr, Saqain District.
In the following days, Citizen Saud Yahya Surour died due to the explosion of a cluster bomb left behind by the aggression in the Ghamar area of Razih District. The aircraft also targeted citizens' homes in the Bani Muadh area with eight airstrikes, destroyed Al-Salam School in the Fout area of Haidan District, and launched attacks on multiple regions including Wadi Al-Kharashib and Souq Al-And in Kataf District.
Further, Apache helicopters fired missiles at the Al-Hasama area in Al-Dhahir District, resulting in the destruction of a citizen's house. Other attacks included bombs dropped on the Washlah area in Haidan District, and Saudi missile and artillery shelling targeting homes, farms, and public and private properties in border areas.
The aggression aircraft also targeted Hodeida International Airport and carried out several airstrikes on agricultural areas in the Qawfa area of Al-Mahwit Governorate, causing significant damage to farmers' property. By June 24, 2016, the aircraft had launched airstrikes on Jabal Ham in Al-Matoon District and Wadi Madhab in Al-Matammah District, targeting gatherings in Al-Jawf Governorate and resulting in numerous deaths and injuries.
On June 24, 2017, five citizens were killed in airstrikes on Al-Mashnaq Market in Shada District of Saada Governorate. The continuous airstrikes across various districts, including Sirwah in Marib Governorate and Al-Maslub District in Al-Jawf Governorate, caused extensive damage to citizens' property.
The aggression continued over subsequent years, with June 24, 2018, witnessing two citizens killed in airstrikes targeting their house in Al-Durayhimi District of Hodeida Governorate. The destruction continued with airstrikes on Al-Qad and Al-Azhor areas, and Saudi missile shelling causing severe damage to citizens' properties.
By June 24, 2019, the aggression aircraft launched attacks in Sahar District and north of Saada City, with intensive Saudi missile shelling causing additional damage. The mercenaries heavily shelled residential neighborhoods in Hodeidah City and other areas, causing further destruction.
The following year, on June 24, 2020, the aggression aircraft targeted Sirwah District in Marib Governorate with numerous airstrikes and launched additional attacks in various governorates including Amran and Al-Bayda. In Hodeida Governorate, mercenaries shelled areas with artillery rounds and gunfire, causing significant damage.
On June 24, 2021, the aggression aircraft continued airstrikes across Marib Governorate and the Al-Raboua area in Asir. Mercenaries established combat fortifications in Al-Tuhayta District in Hodeida Governorate, while reconnaissance aircraft dropped shells on Al-Fazah.
By June 24, 2022, the aggression's impact continued to be felt, with citizen Abdullah Ahmed Ali Darwish Yamani injured by a landmine explosion in Al-Hawak District of Hodeida Governorate. Reconnaissance aircraft launched airstrikes on Hays District, and mercenaries shelled various areas with artillery and gunfire.
On June 24, 2023, the aggression persisted with mercenaries establishing combat fortifications in Al-Tuhayta District and shelling several areas with artillery and various calibers of gunfire, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
