Sana'a: US-Saudi-Emirati aggression aircraft targeted unarmed civilians in various governorates, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens, including women and children.
According to Yemen News Agency, on July 7, 2015, 12 citizens were martyred and others injured when aggression aircraft bombed a shop selling construction materials and timber in Al-Mansuriyah District of Al-Hodeida Governorate. Additionally, one citizen was martyred in an airstrike on the government complex in the district, while the aircraft also bombed the district's Primary Court building.
The Gulf of Aden witnessed naval warship missile shelling in the Al-Waht area of Lahj Governorate, leading to the death of nine citizens and the destruction of a mosque and nearby houses. Airstrikes in the Shaban area of Ibb Governorate injured five people and damaged infrastructure, including a water tank at the Special Security Forces camp.
Al-Mahwit Governorate experienced significant destruction when aggression aircraft targeted the Technical and Agricultural Institute in Al-Rujm District, causing panic and facilitating the escape of 40 inmates from the Central Prison Reform Facility. On July 7, 2016, strategic locations in Marib, Amran, and Sana'a governorates were hit by multiple airstrikes, while mercenaries engaged in missile and artillery shelling.
In subsequent years, aggression aircraft continued to target various districts, causing civilian casualties and extensive damage to infrastructure. Notably, on July 7, 2018, a woman was martyred, and her daughter was injured in Taiz Governorate, while Al-Hodeida Governorate faced repeated shelling and airstrikes in 2019 and 2020, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
The aggression continued with airstrikes and shelling in 2021 and 2022, affecting the governorates of Marib, Hajjah, Sa'dah, and Al-Hodeida, among others. On July 7, 2023, further airstrikes and artillery shelling were reported in Al-Hodeida and Taiz governorates, highlighting the ongoing conflict's impact on civilians.
