According to Yemen News Agency, the airstrikes on February 22, 2016, resulted in the martyrdom of three citizens and injuries to others when warplanes targeted a vegetable truck in the Al-Matama district of Al-Jawf governorate. The aggression also claimed three more lives in an airstrike on a residence in the Nihm district of Sana'a governorate. In Saada governorate, an airstrike in the Al-Buqaa area martyred one citizen and wounded two more. The Khadir district of Taiz governorate witnessed similar violence, where drone strikes led to casualties and damage at the Al-Mokha port.
The airstrikes continued across the country, causing significant damage to homes, farms, and infrastructure in various districts, including Amran city, Ma'rib governorate, and several neighborhoods in Al-Jawf governorate. Communication towers and other critical facilities were also targeted, leading to significant destruction.
On February 22, 2017, further airstrikes martyred a woman and injured four in the Safra district of Saada governorate. In addition, an airstrike involving cluster bombs injured seven citizens, mainly children, in the Sahar district. The aggression extended to the capital, with airstrikes causing damage to residential areas and public infrastructure.
The aggression continued on February 22, 2018, with missile and artillery shelling by the Saudi army in Saada governorate, leading to martyrdom and injuries. Airstrikes targeted various districts, including Dhamar, Hajja, and Al-Hodeida, causing extensive damage to property and infrastructure.
The violence persisted on February 22, 2019, with airstrikes on residences and educational institutions in Hajja governorate. In Al-Hodeida governorate, mercenary forces fired heavy artillery and machine guns, causing further destruction and displacement of residents.
On February 22, 2020, the airstrikes targeted Al-Jawf governorate, leading to significant damage to properties. Mercenaries continued their assault on Al-Hodeida governorate, using artillery and mortar shells against civilian areas.
February 22, 2021, saw ten airstrikes on Ma'rib governorate, with additional strikes on Al-Jawf. Mercenaries fortified positions in Al-Hodeida governorate, launching artillery and small arms fire on residential areas.
The aggression continued unabated on February 22, 2022, with airstrikes resulting in civilian casualties in Hajja governorate. Shelling by the Saudi army injured several citizens in Saada governorate. The air force launched multiple airstrikes across various districts, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
