US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Results in Multiple Civilian Casualties Across Yemeni Governorates

Sana'a: On this day, August 13, numerous civilians have been either martyred or wounded as a result of ongoing aggression by US-Saudi-Emirati forces across various governorates in Yemen. According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression has been relentless over the years, with significant incidents reported on August 13 across multiple years. In 2015, Saudi missile and artillery attacks in Bani Sayyah, Razih District, Saada Governorate, resulted in the martyrdom of one citizen and injuries to others. The aggression's aircraft targeted Saada City and Ibb City, causing destruction to buildings and infrastructure, including the 55th Republican Guard Camp in Yarim District. On August 13, 2016, airstrikes on a Quran memorization school in Haydan District, Saada Governorate, led to the martyrdom of six students, an elderly man, and a woman, with ten others injured. Similar attacks in the Razih District resulted in additional casualties, including children and women. The aggression's aircraft also targeted areas in T aiz, Amran, and Sana'a Governorates, causing widespread destruction to homes and public facilities. The following years continued to see escalations. In 2017, airstrikes and shelling in Saada, Hajjah, Marib, and Taiz Governorates resulted in significant loss of life and damage to infrastructure. On August 13, 2018, five family members were martyred in Hodeida Governorate, and multiple attacks occurred in Amran and Saada Governorates, causing more civilian casualties and damage to property. As the aggression persisted into 2019 and 2020, the mercenaries targeted residential neighborhoods and strategic locations in Hodeida and Marib Governorates, leading to further loss of life and damage. In 2021, aggressive actions included airstrikes in Al-Bayda, Marib, and Al-Jawf Governorates, as well as shelling in Hodeida, resulting in additional casualties and destruction. The most recent reports from 2022 and 2023 highlight continued aggression, with reconnaissance aircraft launching raids in Hodeida and mercenaries establishing combat fortifications in Taiz and Hodeida Governorates. The shelling and attacks continue to disrupt the lives of Yemeni civilians, causing ongoing casualties and destruction to infrastructure.
