Lahj:Mass rallies took place on Friday in Al-Qubaytah District, Lahj Governorate, where participants expressed their readiness to confront Saudi mobilization and condemned the escalating crimes against the Yemeni people.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rallies were held in three locations Al-Sammad Square in Al-Hajar, Al-Nasr Square in Al-Kaabin, and Najd Dhamran Square in Al-Yusfin. The participants reaffirmed their support for Palestine and their commitment to resistance until their legitimate rights are secured.
A statement from the rallies praised the Yemeni armed forces for their military achievements and vigilance in confronting Saudi mobilization and plots. It declared a state of general mobilization and called for continued support for the armed forces to deter aggression and protect Yemen's strategic gains, particularly at the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
The statement also condemned Saudi attacks on civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, as well as the destruction of civilian facilities and property. It claimed that the ongoing aggression and siege were in compliance with US and Israeli directives, aiming to punish Yemen for its support of the people of Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.
The statement urged Yemenis to remain vigilant, encouraged young people and men to join military training courses, and emphasized strengthening missile, drone, and naval forces.
