US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Results in Severe Casualties and Infrastructure Damage Across Yemen

Sana'a: On this day, March 29, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted a number of governorates, leading to the fall of martyrs and wounded, and the destruction of infrastructure, homes, and citizens' properties.

According to Yemen News Agency, on March 29, 2015, one individual was martyred and 24 were injured due to airstrikes by the aggression's aircraft on Al-Sawad and Al-Nahdain camps in the capital Sana'a. Additionally, three individuals were martyred and nine were injured in a series of airstrikes on Al-Dailami Air Base, Faj Attan, the missile brigades, and the Special Forces camp in Al-Sabaha area in Sana'a.

Further, five individuals were injured and 130 prisoners escaped following an airstrike on the central prison in Saada. Airstrikes also injured eight citizens, including a woman and a child, targeting districts in Al-Baqa, Munabbih, Shada, and Sahar. The Yemeni Gas Company facility in Saada was also targeted, resulting in the explosion of two tanks.

Airstrikes continued on March 29, 2016, severely damaging agricultural lands and citizens' properties in Dhamar and Sana'a governorates. The hostile aircraft conducted attacks on various areas in Sirwah district in Marib governorate.

On March 29, 2017, airstrikes resulted in the martyrdom of eight children and two women, injuring four others in the Takhya area of Baqim district in Saada governorate. The aggression's aircraft also targeted areas in Ibb, Taiz, Hajjah, and Shabwa governorates, causing significant damage to homes and properties.

The aggression continued into 2018 with airstrikes killing eight citizens, including four women, and injuring 15 others in Saada governorate. Various areas experienced missile and artillery shelling, inflicting further damage on properties.

In 2020, a woman was martyred by the aggression's mercenaries in Al-Tuhayta district, Hodeida governorate, with additional airstrikes targeting areas in Sana'a, Al-Jawf, and Saada governorates. Artillery and missile attacks further impacted citizens' properties in various districts.

On March 29, 2021, the aggression's aircraft targeted Marib governorate with airstrikes, and artillery shelling by the Saudi army damaged properties in Saada governorate.

The following year, 2022, saw airstrikes and artillery shelling across Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Marib, Al-Jawf, and other governorates, resulting in extensive damage to homes and infrastructure.

Most recently, on March 29, 2023, one citizen was martyred, and an African migrant was injured by artillery shelling in Saada governorate. Two children were injured by an explosive object in Hodeida governorate, and mercenaries established combat fortifications in various districts.
