Taiz: The Taiz governorate's examination subcommittee inaugurated the General Basic Certificate exams for the 1447 academic year on Sunday.
According to Yemen News Agency, education sector official and head of the subcommittee, Abduljaleel al-Samee, conducted inspections of exam sessions at various schools. These included the 22 May and 30 November complexes in Sala district, Imam Malik and Martyr Abduljabbar al-Qablani schools in al-Taiziyah district, and Martyr al-Bahr school in Mawiyah district.
Al-Samee reported that a total of 31,600 students are participating in the exams across 320 centers. The examination process is being overseen by approximately 3,500 staff members, which includes committee heads, supervisors, and monitors. He acknowledged the efforts made to provide a suitable environment for students and to ensure the successful conduct of the examination process.
