Sana'a: On this day, June 6, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted food tankers, displacement camps, civilian homes, and educational and medical institutions, committing acts that resulted in the deaths of dozens, including women and children.
According to Yemen News Agency, on June 6, 2015, 20 citizens were killed and others injured in an airstrike by the aggression's air force targeting Omar bin Abdulaziz School, a health center, and homes in the Bakil al-Mir district of Hajjah Governorate. The same day, eight citizens died and over 50 were injured in an airstrike on a displaced persons camp in the Hayran district. Further attacks included an artillery assault in the village of Daghij and airstrikes on vehicles in Amran Governorate, causing additional casualties.
In subsequent years, June 6 continued to be marked by violence. In 2016, drone and airstrikes hit Harib Nihm and Sirwah District, while in 2017, multiple airstrikes across Saada and Sana'a governorates caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure. The aggression persisted in 2018 with airstrikes in Taiz and Hajjah, damaging farms and homes, and in 2019, attacks targeted communication towers and other civilian sites across various governorates.
The aggression continued on June 6, 2020, with air raids in Majzar and Sarwah districts, and artillery shelling in Hodeida causing destruction to public and private property. In 2021, the attacks were focused on Marib, Saada, Hajjah, and Jawf governorates, while in 2022, mercenaries established fortifications and launched numerous attacks on civilian areas across multiple governorates.
On June 6, 2023, mercenaries constructed combat fortifications in At Tuhayta District of Hodeida Governorate, continuing the pattern of artillery and firearm attacks across the region, further escalating the conflict's toll on civilians.
