Sana'a: Dr. Kamal Margham, Deputy Director of the Yemen Standards and Metrology Authority (YSMA) for Quality Control, visited the Productive Families Exhibition held in the Al-Tahrir area of Sana'a. The visit is a part of the Authority's initiatives to support and empower productive families and improve the quality of their products.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Margham engaged with the exhibitors, reviewing local products and listening to the challenges faced by the participating families. He highlighted the significance of this event as a platform for direct interaction with these families to better understand their needs. Dr. Margham assured that the Authority is dedicated to providing technical and advisory support to help these families adhere to quality and safety standards in their products.
Dr. Margham also noted that the Authority aims to promote a culture of quality and increase awareness of standard specifications through participation in such exhibitions. This initiative is expected to enhance the quality of national products and boost their competitiveness in the markets.
The Authority's team is conducting various field activities, including visiting exhibitors, offering direct awareness sessions about the Authority's role and services, providing specialized technical consultations, and distributing awareness materials and technical support request forms. Additionally, an awareness lecture is being conducted to emphasize the importance of quality and its role in achieving sustainability.
